News From Fair Train

More than ever, young people are leaving education without the experience needed to gain work. This skills gap reduces their likelihood of getting a job (increasing youth unemployment).

Fair Train supports organisations to be able to deliver these opportunities, through the Work Experience Quality Standard accreditation. As a small charity working on a national level, we have now set up a crowdfunding campaign on GlobalGiving to support the vital work that our partner organisations carry out.

We need your help in raising awareness of the campaign to encourage more individuals and organisations to recognise the value of work experience in allowing young people to gain skills, confidence, and ultimately, employment.

GlobalGiving is running a five-week challenge to encourage charities to raise funds from their supporters. If we manage to raise £2,500 from 50 donors by 18th July, we could receive additional bonus funds along with a permanent place on GlobalGiving’s website. This will be crucial in helping us achieve our aims of supporting other charities to become sustainable.

Please help us to support this campaign by:

  • Donating to the campaign to help us to transform lives. An individual donation of £10 could provide new resource templates for charities, and organisational support of £300 could help cover the cost of a training course
  • Sharing this email within your organisation
  • Including an article on your website and in your newsletter
  • Sharing the campaign on organisation and individual social media accounts
  • Including a link on your email signature.

Find out more about the campaign here and GlobalGiving’s challenge here.

Thank you for your support.
